Richie Rich Hot Chocolate
Have you ever wanted to try making the richest, thickest, most eccentric hot chocolate your taste buds have ever tasted? This hot chocolate is great for your health and won't cause any indigestion issues normally associated with high sugar and regular milk. This hot chocolate is sure to fill you up, and is just about as heavy as a dessert. Enjoy it by a fire this winter, enjoy!
2 glasses of hot chocolate calls for:
4 cups of A2 whole milk. Heat it up to a simmer.
Cut up 1 bar of organic, unsweetened chocolate into small pieces.
Add 3 TBS of Cacao powder. Use a whisk to mix. Ensure that you continue mix as the milk has a tendency to boil over.
Add chopped unsweetened chocolate to the mix, stir until completely melted.
Add 3 TBS of Maple Syrup (no added sugar)
Add 1/2 TSP of Vanilla Extract
Add 1TSP TBS of Honey
In a mixer, mix 1 cup of A2 milk to make it whipped. It is unsweetened unlike regular whipped cream.
Pour the hot chocolate in a glass, top it with whipped cream, and sprinkle cinnamon on top. Be sure to use A2 milk as regular milk contains the A1 beta-casein protein that most people feel sick from, and plant based milks typically contain soy lecithin, which promotes hormonal imbalance.
